2010 - Becky, Tango and Jester
Welcome to our website! We are Pat & Randy McKinney and we share our home with our three Golden Retrievers, Becky, Tango and Jester. Becky, our first Golden, came to our home in May of 2001 to be a family companion and possibly hunt with Randy. Little did she know what lay ahead - lots of agility, obedience, hunt tests, and pheasant hunting and the titles that came along with the journey. Little did we know what a wonderful world of new friends and experiences she would introduce us to. She is:

Becky earned her Master Agility Championship title in July, 2008! This was quite an accomplishment and I'm very proud of her. But it was also a ton of fun.
Golden Retrievers are like potato chips, you can't have only one! As a result, one of the best things that came from sharing our home with Becky was the opportunity to join the Gaylans Golden family (www.gaylans.com). Tango came to our home in January of 2004 and what a ride it's been.
She is fulfilling the promise of her pedigree by excelling in many fields. She is a gifted hunting dog who earned her Senior Hunter and her Hunting Retriever (UKC) titles in 2009. She is fun, fast, and responsive on the agility course and is working towards her MACH this year. 2009 was a very exciting year. Tango completed her Utility Dog title, her Upland Hunter title, her Senior Hunter title and her UKC Seasoned Title, as well as her Open Fast in Agility. She also earned 5 QQ's from September through November 26, 2009. In 2010, Tango earned the GRCA Agility Dog Hall of Fame award, the GRCA Outstanding Dam award and qualified for the 2011 National Agility Championships. She is:

And her first litter, the Fire Litter was born July 17, 2007! These pups are three years old now and have already earned multiple titles including JH's, WC's and WCX's, RN's, CD's and Agility Titles and are working as active therapy dogs. On November 26, 2008, Tango whelped her second litter, the Jimmy Buffet litter. Tango had two pups, Mr. Blue and Miss Yellow. We also took in two foster pups, Miss Red from Judy Turenne and Miss Green from Cindy Jones. You can see photos and updates on the Buffet Litter pages.
Randy and I decided to keep Mr. Blue with our family and have named him SHR Gaylan's Jolly Mon Sing JH WC - you can see his page on our website. He's a great puppy, handsome and smart and loves to work. He is keeping his Momma Tango busy by doing the zoomies and roughhousing with her and Auntie Becky lets him know when he's being rude. Welcome "Jester" to our family!

Oh, by the way, we also have two grown sons, Scott 28 and Doug 24. Doug graduated from Lock haven University in May, 2009 and is working for a security firm doing contract security work and Scott has taken a new job as a medical supply sale representative throughout the New England area. Now that they're on their own, we've gone to the dogs!
This is Jester, our new boy. He's eight months old in this photo, taken at Tails U Win in Manchester, where he particpated in his first puppy breed match and took 2nd place. He's a very handsome boy who loves to work and is a great snuggler. He certainly knows how to work the eyes and melt your heart!
Although we have no current breeding plans, our future breedings will be under the kennel name Tidemark Golden Retrievers. Co-breeding with Gayle Watkins of Gaylans Goldens for our first litters has been very helpful. We will continue to use her guidance, mentoring, and puppy raising program for future breedings.
