2010 Big News!  Tango completes the requirements for the GRCA Agility Dog Hall of Fame and also finishes earning the 6 QQ's and 400 points needed to qualify for the 2011 Agility Nationals to be held in Lexington, VA!  Yippee!

Here are some pictures of Tango playing the games she loves to play!
I don't have any pictures of Tango doing obedience, but she loves to do that, too!

Tango earned her Utility Dog Title at the Holyoke Kennel Club's outdoor show in Westfield, MA on May 9, 2009!  She placed third and actually earned four legs, two were under the same judge.  Good Girl, Tango!

Tango and Randy played in the Hunt Test game on the 4th of July, 2009 at the Westchester Retriever Club hunt test and earned her Senior Hunter Title!

Tango finished her UKC Hunting Retriever title at the Saco River HRC test on September 12, 2009.  HRC not only rewards the dogs with ribbons and treats, but the handlers with a water bath whenever they title!  Luckily it was a nice warm day!  Congrats to Randy and Tango!

Tango finished her XF title in New Hampshire on February 5, 2010.

On June 13, 2010, Tango completed the requirements for a special award from the Golden Retriever Club of America - the GRCA Agility Dog Hall of Fame!  Woohoo!  In order for her to earn this award, she needed to earn 375 points, 10 QQ's, 3 of those QQ's needed to have double placements, as well as 15 other placements.  This is quite an accomplishment and we've trained and worked hard for this and I'm so proud of her and happy to be a part of her team.  On June 14, 2010, I earned T's 11th QQ and then Paula Orcutt took over running Tango while I recovered from foot surgery.  She and Tango became quite the team, earning three more QQ's and placements over the summer.  I was able to start running Tango again myself and earned QQ#15 on September 12, 2010 at AK9C with the Old Colony Kennel Club Agility Trial.

On August 28, 2010, Tango didn't have to do anything herself to earn this award - her sons Bang & Tux and daughter Winee helped out with this.  The GRCA has a special award called an Outstanding Dam or Sire award.  An Outstanding Dam needs to have three progeny earn certain high level awards and needs 32 points from these titles to make their Mom a GRCA OD!  Thanks so much to these three pups and their owners for working so hard to give Tango this award.  Thanks to all the other hard working Fire Litter pups who have done very well, too.  You are all part of this special litter and I only wish I could have listed every one of you, but alas, the GR News only allows the first three.  Check out their webpages below for their accomplishments.

Tango completes her 20th QQ with a third place in JWW to earn her Master Agility Championship title at Dreampark in Swedesboro, NJ.  She also finished her MXF title as well.
